This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the actual hard drive is not included. Because we keep a large inventory of PCBs, the specific board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These PCBs are sold for hard drive repair and data recovery purposes. Before purchasing, verify that a replacement board will address your issue by consulting our hard drive diagnostics guide, and confirm compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive circuit boards contain unique data stored in a ROM memory chip that is required for the drive to function correctly. That ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement PCB. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
