This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large quantity of these PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photograph. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repairs. Before ordering, verify that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide. Confirm compatibility by consulting the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many hard drive PCBs store unique calibration and configuration data in a ROM (memory) chip. That ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly, so the ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For customers spending $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — we will either transplant the ROM chip onto your new PCB or reprogram the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
