This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY. No hard drive is included. Because we keep a large stock of PCBs, the actual board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended uses: hard drive repair and data recovery. Prior to purchasing, confirm this part will solve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and checking compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most hard drive circuit boards contain unique information in a ROM "memory" chip. That ROM data is required for correct drive operation, so the ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board or the new board must be reprogrammed with the correct data. If a chip transplant is possible, a local computer professional can usually perform the task. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that covers either moving the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the proper ROM data.
