This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the actual PCB you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended for use in data recovery or HDD repair, this PCB should be verified for suitability before purchase: follow our hard drive diagnostics guide to confirm a PCB swap is appropriate and consult the Donor Matching Guide to ensure compatibility. Most replacement PCBs hold unique information in the ROM "memory" chip that is required for proper drive operation; the ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the new board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
