This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We maintain a large inventory, so the PCB you receive may vary slightly from the pictured item. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Important: most hard drive PCBs contain unique calibration/configuration data stored in a ROM "memory" chip; that information is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement circuit board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant.
