This sale is for the hard drive circuit board / logic board ONLY. No hard drive or other components are included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or hard drive repair. Before ordering, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many WD PCBs contain unique ROM memory that stores drive-specific parameters required for proper operation. The ROM chip or its stored data must be transferred or reprogrammed onto the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For purchases of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — we will either transplant the ROM chip to the new PCB or program the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
