This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / Logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is NOT included. Because we stock a large number of these boards, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or HDD repair. To confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your issue, please follow our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive circuit boards include unique information stored in the ROM "memory" chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to function properly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant.
