This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Due to a large inventory, the actual PCB shipped may vary slightly from the photo. Designed for HDD repair and data recovery, this board should be used only after confirming it will fix your drive: follow our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify part compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most drive PCBs store unique information in a ROM memory chip that is required for proper operation; the ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For purchases of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either relocates the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
