Overview: WAVLINK’s dual-bay M.2 enclosure functions as both a high-speed external SSD housing and a standalone duplicator. It supports NVMe and AHCI drives and offers one-click offline cloning so you can copy a source disk to a target disk without a PC connection. Note: do not insert the wrong SSD location in the dual-disk drive; otherwise, cloning will not start. Also be sure to disconnect the device from your computer before beginning the cloning process. Capacity & Connectivity: The unit accepts two M.2 SSDs for a maximum of 8TB total (4TBx2). It ships with a C to C power cord, a USB-A adapter and supports OTG, enabling easy connection to smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktops and other devices for storage expansion. Performance: The USB-C interface supports up to 20Gbps (USB3.2 Gen 2x2). Measured throughput reaches up to 1631MB/s read and 1267MB/s write, making large transfers—photos, videos, game libraries—fast and convenient with plug-and-play operation. Compatibility & Accessories: Compatible M.2 sizes include 2280/2260/2242/2230 and supports drives with M and B+M keys. This enclosure is not compatible with SSDs using SATA or mSATA interfaces. Two silicone buckles and two thermally conductive silicone pads are included to secure and cool installed SSDs. Design & Ease of Use: The metal sliding cover allows tool-free installation and removal. No drivers are required—simply insert drives and connect.
