High-power outdoor Wi‑Fi for long-range installations: the WAVLINK AC600 uses a 1000mW chipset paired with dual-polarized 7dBi antennas to provide stable coverage in the 100-150m range and reliably serve 32-64 devices. It’s built to handle tasks like streaming HD security cameras across a farm, supporting VoIP on a construction site, or bringing internet to a distant barn. Dual PoE options simplify outdoor deployment — support for Active PoE (802.3at/af) allows safe, auto-negotiated power over any standard Ethernet cable up to 100m, while Passive PoE compatibility ensures backward support with older systems. Run a single Ethernet run to mount the unit on a rooftop, wall, or pole; note the PoE converter is not waterproof, so please install it indoors. Rugged, weatherproof construction: the IP67-rated enclosure is survival-tested for -20°C to 50°C(-4 ~122°F) and resists dust, heavy rain, and snow, making it suitable for coastal and mountainous environments. Protection against electrical events is provided with 15KV ESD and 4KV surge shielding to guard against lightning and field-induced strikes. Dual-band performance lets you optimize traffic: the 2.4G Band (150Mbps) penetrates thick walls and foliage for long-range sensor networks and IoT irrigation controllers, while the 5G Band (433Mbps) delivers low-latency capacity for 4K surveillance, live drone telemetry, or video conferencing in RVs. Multiple operating modes cover many scenarios — Router Mode converts a wired link into outdoor Wi‑Fi for cafes or remote offices; AP Mode extends an existing network to sheds, docks, or solar arrays using Ethernet backhaul; Repeater Mode amplifies weak signals across valleys or warehouses; Fit AP Mode enables centralized control and management through the WAVLINK AC Controller (sold separately), ideal for hotel properties, campuses, or citywide IoT deployments.
