High-performance 1.6HP, 1600GPH garden water pump built for a variety of transfer tasks including home irrigation, pool draining, farm watering and shallow well supply. Durable construction features a stainless steel pump head and an aluminum motor housing for improved corrosion resistance and long service life, so it won’t easily rust after prolonged use. For safe, simple operation the unit includes an on/off switch to prevent accidental starts. Cooling is aided by rear ventilation, and a built-in automatic thermal overload protector prevents the motor from overheating or burning out. Versatile in application — works as a sprinkler pump, shallow well pump, or booster pump for irrigation and drawing water from ponds, lakes, rain barrels, water tanks, etc. Note: It works only with clean water. Usage notes: the pump is self-priming but must be primed with enough water on first use. For best results use with a check valve (check valve not included). Please turn off the switch after use.
