No rating yet(0 ratings)Walker Exhaust Systems model 54761 is an Ultra EX EPA direct-fit catalytic converter, size 42.500, for select 2001–2005 Volkswagen Jetta and 2001–2005 Volkswagen New Beetle vehicles. It is a bolt-on replacement with OE-style hangers, brackets, routing, and heat shields, designed for installation without specialized fabrication or welding.
It uses an OE-style washcoat and precious-metal load to reduce tailpipe emissions and keep the check-engine light off for emissions codes. Aluminized heat shields are included when originally equipped, and the converter has thick OE-style flanges, hangers, and brackets. It is for OBDII vehicles from 1996 onward.
It is not legal for sale or use in CA or CO; in NY and ME, it is legal only on EPA federal-emission-equipped vehicles. Check your state's aftermarket converter regulations. UPC: 086387547611. SKU: sku-143655713.
