High-resolution front and rear recording: The VIOFO A329S records the road in 4K@60fps on the front camera and 2K on the rear camera to capture fine detail such as license plates and road signs day or night. (Note: the front 4K@60fps mode is not available while HDR is enabled.) Dual STARVIS 2 imaging system: The front module uses the STARVIS 2 IMX678 image sensor for higher pixel density, reduced low-light noise and less motion blur. The rear uses the STARVIS 2 IMX675 image sensor, offering an up to 2.5× wider dynamic range compared with a STARVIS pixel of the same size to produce clearer, sharper video across varied lighting. Parking power-saving & impact-triggered recording: An ultra-low-power parking mode conserves vehicle battery and immediately starts recording when a collision is detected. These parking features can be enabled via the HK4/HK6 Hardwire Kit (hardwire kit not included). Fast Wi‑Fi 6 transfers: Built-in Wi‑Fi 6 greatly increases wireless performance in the 5GHz band — up to 3× faster and as high as 30MB/s — so you can preview, share and download footage quickly (a 1-minute 4K clip can transfer in under 10 seconds). Large-capacity storage options: The A329S accepts external SSDs up to 4TB or microSD cards up to 512GB for extended continuous recording (over 3 weeks possible). We recommend using the optional VIOFO Type‑C SSD cable. (microSD card and SSD not included.) Enhanced evidence capture: Dual STARVIS 2 sensors combined with 2-channel HDR balance extreme highlights and shadows across both cameras, improving readability of license plates and fine details even during fast motion. Neat, interference-resistant installation: The kit includes a super-slim 2.8mm coaxial cable with miniature connectors for tidy, hidden routing. Coaxial wiring is more resistant to electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference, preventing disruption to other in-car electronics while maintaining high-bandwidth signal transmission regardless of cable length.
