Vinyl Freak Professor of English John Corbett sku-55365662

"Vinyl Freak: Love Letters to a Dying Medium" is a hardcover Musical Instruction listing under Professor of English John Corbett, SKU sku-55365662. John Corbett writes about collecting records, including more than 200 rare and out-of-print LPs. Part of the book draws on his DownBeat column about records that had not appeared on CD.

Other essays mix memoir and criticism as he discusses the vinyl boom, his preference for the format, collector subcultures, and his work assembling the Alton Abraham Sun Ra Archive. Corbett says that project cured his record-collecting addiction.
