Victron Smart BMS 12/200 — 12VDC for LIFEPO4 Batteries

The Victron Smart BMS 12/200 is an all-in-one Battery Management System engineered for Victron Lithium-Iron-Phosphate (LiFePO4) Smart Batteries in 12V installations, such as vehicles and marine applications with a 12V alternator. Designed as a compact, rugged solution, it integrates a Current Limiter, Battery Combiner, and Battery Protector to allow safe connection of chargers, DC loads, any size 12V alternator and a starter battery to Smart Lithium batteries. The unit continuously monitors and protects each individual cell in the battery or battery bank. In the event of low or high cell voltages or excessive temperature, the BMS will disconnect alternators, charging sources, or DC loads to prevent damage. A dedicated alternator connection enforces current limiting and permits one-way current flow from the alternator into the battery, enabling safe use with any size alternator while preventing the starter battery from being overly discharged. For system monitoring and setup the Smart BMS 12/200 includes Bluetooth. It also features a remote on/off connector to turn the BMS (and the system) off via an external switch, plus a pre-alarm contact to provide a warning before the BMS disconnects the batteries from the system.
