Victron BPC121315106 Blue 3X IP67 Charger sku-472923454

Victron BPC121315106 is a BlueSmart IP67 battery charger. Listed as Blue, size 3X and Unisex, it is sold under General Electronic Accessories as sku-472923454. The Bluetooth connection lets you monitor voltage and current, change settings and receive firmware updates, with much of the functionality of Victron IP22 and IP65 chargers.

Its cast aluminium housing and resin-moulded electronics are fully encapsulated, waterproof, shockproof and ignition protected; water, oil and dirt will not harm the unit. Efficiency is 92% or better, and power draw falls below a watt when the battery is fully charged. An adaptive 5-stage program runs through bulk, absorption, recondition, float and storage.

After 24 hours without discharge, storage mode lowers float voltage to 2,2 V per cell (13,2 V for a 12 V battery) to reduce gassing and positive plate corrosion. It raises voltage to absorption level weekly to help prevent electrolyte stratification and sulphation. Li-ion (LiFePO4) charging uses bulk, absorption and float.

Overheating protection reduces output current as temperature rises, up to 60°C, so the charger can continue operating in hot environments. The yellow LED shows the charging phase: fast blinking for bulk, slow blinking for absorption, solid for float and off for storage. The green LED shows power on. Input: 120v; output: 13a at 12v; charging banks: 1; portable: yes.
