Cable Size: 1.6 x 13.1 ft / 50.0 x 398.4 cm. The system heats the room from the floor, reducing the stuffiness and dryness common with conventional heaters. Heating mat details: the mat is 1/8 inch thick and has double-sided adhesive to stick to the subfloor and remain flat after positioning. With 2" spacing you can cut the mesh, rotate, and flip the mat to fit your layout, but DO NOT CUT THE CABLE. The heating wires must be embedded in a self-leveling underlayment, thin-set mortar, or cement. Programmable thermostat features a responsive touchscreen and integrated GFCI for safety. It supports dual sensing (air/floor), records power usage (power logging), and includes a child lock. There are four temperature control modes and a 7-day scheduling feature to program different routines without repeating settings. The included installation monitor lets you test the underfloor cable during installation so you can confirm proper operation and avoid costly repairs like moving or re-pouring concrete. Size selection tip: when choosing mat size, round up your floor space; for example, a floor of 2.6 square meters requires a 2 square meter mat to avoid excess coverage.
