It uses 7OZ 100% cotton FR yarn, FR buttons, aramid thread and reflective tape stitching. The smooth fabric is pre-washed and treated to resist wrinkles, with stitching described as excellent. It has two chest pockets and 2-inch reflective tape on the front and back.
The shirt meets or exceeds HRC2 CAT2 (ATPV 10 cal/cm²), NFPA 2112, NFPA 70E and ASTM 1506 standards and is UL-certified. It offers short-term protection around open flames, metal splatter, arc flashes, welding, laser cutting and other spark-producing hazards. It is suitable for welders, electricians, construction assemblers, steelworkers, petrochemical workers and natural gas technicians.
It can be washed at home or industrially and retains flame resistance for up to 100 wash cycles (NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506, Class 1).
