Overview: The UD-3900 expands a laptop’s ports with two HDMI outputs, Gigabit Ethernet, an audio jack and six USB ports. It connects over USB 3.0 or USB-C and requires drivers for full display support. Display capabilities: Drive two HDMI monitors at up to 1920x1200 @ 60Hz. If using a single HDMI display, the dock supports up to 2560x1440 @ 50Hz. 4K resolutions are not supported. Operating system compatibility and drivers: Windows 11, 10, 8.x and 7 — drivers are available via Windows Update for plug-and-play installation. macOS 10.14 or later — a manual DisplayLink driver install is required (instructions included). ChromeOS 100 or later works without additional setup. Not compatible with Linux/Unix systems. Usage notes and limitations: Best suited for web browsing and productivity applications; not recommended for gaming. The dock does not support certain non-DisplayLink adapters, DisplayPort connections or HDCP-protected content. This docking station does not supply power to charge the host laptop.
