Its lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells weigh 1/3 as much as traditional lead-acid batteries, have twice their service life and are described as environmentally friendly. A test button and LED show the state of charge. Foam spacers help it fit multiple models, and M6 bolts are included; M5 cable eyelets may need widening. It can be installed in any direction.
Do not use a charger with an automatic desulfation mode that cannot be turned off; a lithium-specific charger is recommended. Tusk provides a limited, prorated two-year warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.
