Tusc & Pine Art Painting Supplies 194447055973 Gloss

Tusc & Pine InstaVar gloss picture varnish, model and UPC 194447055973, is listed under Art Painting Supplies in an 8.4oz Bottle - 2 Pack. Made in the USA, this archival-quality varnish is clear, nearly odorless and described as non-yellowing. It gives oil, alkyd and acrylic paintings an even gloss sheen, increases color saturation and can be used as a retouch or protective coat.

Apply it with a brush once the paint is dry to the touch and firm in its thickest areas; some paintings may take 2 weeks to dry, or 2 months in humid conditions. The varnish dries in 24 hours and can be removed with StudioSolv™. Its 144°F flashpoint places it in the DOT combustible-liquid category.

The listing says it conforms to FAA and TSA guidelines for air travel: a 3.4 oz bottle is described as carry-on size, while larger bottles can go in checked baggage.
