Tripp Lite SMART500RT1U 500VA / 300W Smart Pro 120V Line-Interactive UPS

The SMART500RT1U is a line-interactive Tripp Lite Smart Pro UPS that delivers battery-derived sine wave AC output during power failures, voltage regulation through brownouts, and network-grade AC surge suppression. It provides 500VA / 300 watt capacity suitable for networking, telecom and other sensitive electronic equipment. Designed for flexible installation, the unit fits 1U rackmount positions in 2- or 4-post racks and can also be used upright as a tower; mounting accessories are included. Internal battery packs provide runtime of 17 minutes at half load (250VA / 150 watts) and approximately 5 minutes at full load (500VA / 300 watts). The UPS keeps a regulated 120V nominal output even during brownouts down to 90V. On the back panel there are six UPS-supported outlets (including one single-outlet switchable load bank that can be turned off and back on via software) plus one additional surge-only outlet for non-battery-backed accessories. PowerAlert monitoring and unattended-shutdown software is included to support configurable network broadcast messaging, email notifications, event logging and execution of user-defined scripts. The unit offers direct monitoring by up to three connected devices using the included USB and DB9 ports; SNMP monitoring is available with the optional SNMPWEBCARD. You can also monitor any number of UPS systems over IP using the included PowerAlert software. Communications reportable via the ports include on-battery, low-battery, power-restored, AC line voltage, DC battery voltage and remaining battery capacity. The UPS supports timed inverter shutoff after unattended shutdown, activation of self-test, and UPS output power control for delayed or immediate reboot of connected equipment. It also supports Tripp Lite’s WatchDog application to recover unresponsive software and systems by sequentially restarting applications, operating systems and, if necessary, cycling UPS power (requires option SKU: DHSMART500RT1U).
