Overview: The SMART1500LCDT is a line-interactive UPS that provides network-grade voltage regulation, surge protection and dependable battery backup to keep critical equipment running and prevent data loss, hardware damage and downtime during power disturbances. Power connections: Features 10 built-in NEMA 5-15R outlets — 5 outlets provide both UPS battery backup and surge suppression for essential devices, while 5 additional outlets offer surge-only protection for noncritical gear. The unit uses a NEMA 5-15P input plug and includes a 6ft / 1.8m line cord. Voltage regulation and surge protection: Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) continuously corrects brownouts and overvoltages within the 92 to 150V range without drawing on battery power. Network-grade AC surge suppression guards connected equipment against transient surge damage and performance issues. Runtime performance: Provides approximately 10 minutes of runtime at 50% load (450 watts) and about 1.6 minutes at 100% load (900 watts). It can support an entry-level desktop system with LCD screen for up to 90 minutes during power failures (60 watts). Monitoring and display: The integrated LCD reports operating status and battery charge, plus detailed UPS/site metrics including input and output voltage, frequency, load percentage, load watts, battery voltage and estimated runtime in minutes. Connectivity and software: A USB monitoring port allows optional unattended shutdown via the PowerAlert UPS management software (free download at www.tripplite.com). The HID-compliant USB interface also enables seamless integration with built-in power management and automatic shutdown functions in Windows and Mac OSX. Data-line protection: Built-in data-line surge suppression protects equipment with a single-line dialup or network ethernet connection and includes one set of coax jacks for CATV / broadcast line protection.
