TPA3255 MAX HiFi Digital Amplifier Board — Upgraded 600W (300W x 2) Stereo, Low Noise
Confirmed working at 52V. Due to higher material costs, some components have been upgraded; the board is capable of reliably driving 4-8 Euro speakers. Under the same power supply the output power can be increased by more than 50%. TPA3255 is a high-performance Class D power amplifier chip that combines Class D efficiency with true high-end audio circuitry. It uses an advanced integrated feedback design and a proprietary high-speed gate driver error correction function (PurePath)™ to deliver ultra-high definition sound with ultra-low distortion across the audio band. The device operates in AD mode and can drive up to 2 315W/4R loads and 2 150W (unshipped power)/8R loads at a of 1.5%. A 2 VRMS analog input interface allows seamless connection to high-performance DACs (such as TI's PCM5242). In addition to excellent audio performance, the TPA3255 offers high power efficiency and ultra-low idle loss (less than 2.5W), achieved through an 85mR MOSFET and an optimized gate driver scheme that significantly reduces idle loss compared to traditional discrete implementations.
