TP-Link RE2700X AX2700 Wi‑Fi 6 Dual‑Band Range Extender — Up to 2.7 Gbps, Gigabit Ethernet, EasyMesh‑Compatible, Smart Roaming

Blazing 2.7 Gbps Wi‑Fi 6 performance: RE2700X delivers combined speeds up to 2.7 Gbps using a dedicated 5 GHz radio at 2162 Mbps and a 2.4 GHz radio at 574 Mbps. Expand coverage while maintaining high throughput and capacity for more devices. Smart Roaming ensures your compatible devices stay on the fastest signal as you move through the home.

EasyMesh‑Compatible: Link the extender to an EasyMesh‑compatible router to build a flexible mesh system that provides continuous whole‑home coverage. Gigabit Ethernet Port & AP Mode: Attach smart TVs, PCs, or game consoles to the Gigabit Ethernet port for high‑speed wired connections, or use AP Mode to create a new Wi‑Fi access point from a wired network.

Simple setup: Plug in and configure quickly using the WPS button or TP‑Link’s Tether app. Broad compatibility: Extends the wireless range of any Wi‑Fi router or access point and works with all Wi‑Fi generations (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and internet providers.

Network efficiency and responsiveness: Wi‑Fi 6 increases average throughput (up to 4x capacity in dense environments) and lowers latency for smoother streaming and gaming. Target Wake Time helps reduce power use of battery‑powered clients that support 802.11ax.

Adaptive Path Selection automatically picks the fastest route to the router while the Smart Signal Indicator helps you find the optimal placement. Secure one‑touch connection (WPS) lets you link the extender to a router instantly without extra configuration. Important notes and limitations: Maximum wireless signal rates are physical layer rates from IEEE 802.11 specifications.

The higher capacity claim is based on laboratory testing that simulated multiple simultaneous home applications (4K/1080p/720p streaming, file downloads, web browsing, IP cameras, IoT devices); real‑world throughput, coverage, and number of connected devices will vary depending on ISP, network conditions, client limits, building materials, obstacles, traffic density, and client location.

The product may not work with routers or gateways whose firmware has been modified, is non‑standard, open‑source based, or outdated. Uninterrupted streaming is intended for devices that support 802.11k/v. The “up to 4x capacity” figure refers to median throughput improvement in dense environments versus an 11ac wave 2 range extender.

Target Wake Time energy savings require client devices to support 802.11ax; actual power reduction depends on network and client conditions. TP‑Link EasyMesh‑compatible devices can interoperate with other EasyMesh implementations, but failed connections can occur due to vendor firmware conflicts; EasyMesh functionality is under ongoing development on some models and this product, while compatible with standardized EasyMesh technology, has not obtained Wi‑Fi EasyMesh™ certification.

Actual network throughput may also be limited by the product’s Ethernet WAN/LAN port speed, the network cable, and your internet service provider.
