Hollow rubber springs provide a progressive spring rate: they resist rear-end sag more as the load increases and adjust automatically when towing or carrying a load. The kit is designed to reduce squatting, body roll and sway, cushion road shocks, improve handling and steering, maintain front-tire traction, and keep headlights aimed toward the road.
It is intended to provide a smoother ride when loaded or unloaded. A ½” to 1 ½” gap between the rubber spring and axle is specified for unloaded ride quality.
