Compact in-ceiling speakers designed for commercial and residential 70 Volt systems. Each TSQ670 includes a built-in 70 Volt transformer with five power taps (16, 8, 4, 2 and 1 watt) plus a transformer-bypass option for direct low-impedance use, allowing easy integration with both new and existing audio setups. Full-range 2-way performance is provided by 6.5" Poly Mica cone woofers with butyl rubber surrounds and pivoting silk-dome tweeters. A 6dB-per-octave crossover shapes the response, delivering 50Hz-20 kHz frequency range and 91dB sensitivity at 8 ohm. Installation is straightforward: the pressure-lock mounting clamps secure tightly to drywall. Cutout required is 8.4375" (round), mounting depth is 2.875", and the overall diameter is 9.3125". Connections use spring-loaded raw wire terminals. Housings and grilles are molded ABS and can be painted to match décor. System requirements: any 70 Volt home audio receiver or amplifier with raw speaker wire outputs. Amplifier power should be no less than 10 and no more than 200 watts per channel. Use CL3-rated in-wall certified raw speaker wire between the receiver and speakers.
