These are passive speakers — simply connect to a home audio receiver or amplifier with raw speaker wire. Ideal for surround sound, whole-house audio, or commercial installations. Audio performance: Full-range 2-way design featuring 6.5" woven fiber bulletproof cone woofers with butyl rubber surrounds and pivoting silk dome tweeters. 2nd order 12dB per octave crossovers deliver a frequency response of 32Hz-20 kHz and a sensitivity of 92dB at 8ohm. Installation and construction: Pressure lock mounting system clamps securely to drywall. Cut-out size required is 7.875" round, mounting depth is 2.875", and overall diameter is 9.5". Spring-loaded raw wire connections simplify wiring. Durable ABS housings and paintable grills allow the speakers to match your decor. System requirements and wiring: Requires any home audio receiver or amp with raw speaker wire outputs. Power from your amp should be no less than 10 and no more than 200 watts per channel. Use CL3 rated in wall certified raw speaker wire to connect your receiver to the speakers.
