These are passive speakers—simply connect them to any home audio receiver or amplifier with raw speaker wire outputs. Drivers and crossover: 15 Degree angled 8" interlaced glass fiber cone woofers with butyl rubber surrounds, pivoting silk dome tweeters, and 2nd order 18dB per octave crossovers. Frequency response is 25Hz-21 kHz with 97dB at 8ohm. Installation is straightforward with a pressure lock mounting system that clamps securely to drywall. Cut a round hole of 10.375"; mounting depth required is 6" and the overall outer diameter is 11.375". Connections use spring loaded raw wire terminals. Housings and grills are durable ABS and can be painted to match your decor. System requirements: any home audio receiver or amp with raw speaker wire outputs; recommended amplifier power no less than 10 and no more than 400 watts per channel; use CL3 rated in wall certified raw speaker wire for in-wall runs.
