The Beadsmith HAM1718 Hand Tools sku-3858090486 Mallet

The Beadsmith HAM1718, sku-3858090486, UPC 790524686964, is a Multicolor two-pack of brass-head mallets in the Hand Tools category. One has a 1lb head, a 24mm face and a 9.5-inch handle; the other has a 2lb head, a 38mm face and a 10-inch handle. The heavier head requires less striking force, while the brass heads reduce bounce-back and reverberation compared with steel hammers.

They help prevent marks or thinning on struck metal and avoid damage to steel tools. The 1 and 2-pound mallets can be used for dapping, chasing, disc punches, riveting and light stamping. They also work with Metal Elements letter, number and punctuation sets for making personalized jewelry and keepsakes, including necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings.

The listing suggests steampunk, rock and heavy-metal designs. The Beadsmith cites 40 years of supplying jewelry-making beads and tools and asks customers to contact it with quality concerns.
