There are 9 standard dies for 12 AWG through 2/0 (00), plus 9 larger dies for nonstandard lugs such as heavy cast and thin-wall terminals.
The dies conform to DIN industrial standards, work with US domestic-market terminals including color-coded lugs, and imprint the crimp size for code-compliance inspections. All 32 dies have a black oxide coating that does not chip or flake like chrome plating. The tool can crimp battery and welding cable, building wiring, and crimp terminal lugs, including heavy cast lugs.
