Tamiya 37016 Multicolor Model Kits sku-44498055 1:35

Tamiya 37016, sku-44498055, is a Multicolor, Unisex plastic Model Kits assembly kit of the German 1T 1/2 Track Sd.Kfz.10 in 1:35 scale. It is part of the Tamiya Italeri Series No.16 and measures 145mm long by 55mm wide. The original 1ton half-track was among the lightest trucks used by German forces during WWII.

Its 100hp Maybach HL42 engine and gearbox provided 7 forward and 3 reverse speeds, a top speed of 65km/h and an on-road range of up to 350km. It carried 2 crew and 6 passengers. Developed to tow lighter weapons, including 2cm anti-aircraft guns, 7.5cm light infantry guns and 5cm anti-tank guns, it later hauled heavier units such as 7.5cm anti-tank guns and 30cm rocket launchers.

More than 15,000 were made between 1939 and 1944 and served on the Eastern and North African fronts. The kit updates the original Italeri parts with the reverse side of a folded canvas roof, a cabin weapon rack, redesigned accessories and attachment mounts, an updated rear loop stay mold and a thin plastic windshield plate.

It also includes Tamiya-made jerry cans, a light, soldier accessories, small firearms and assembly-type tracks with one-piece straight sections. The roof can be built folded or deployed. The kit comes with 3 figures, including 1 driver, and 4 markings for Eastern and Italian front vehicles. Vehicle parts are made by Italeri.
