Purpose-built for low-voltage, power-limited systems, this SYSTON 22/4 unshielded control cable is ideal for fire alarm and security/burglar stations as well as sound alarm wiring. It also supports public address systems, intercoms, telephone stations, communications, instrumentation, access control, nurse call and other power-limited circuits. The cable uses solid bare copper conductors to deliver reliable conductivity and consistent performance. Rated CMP/CL3P/FT6 (Plenum Rated), the jacket meets the highest flame-retardant requirements and is suitable for plenum spaces such as ceilings and enclosures that serve as building air distribution paths. CMP exceeds commercial (CMR) and general-purpose (CM) cable grades. Electrical and safety compliances include NEC: 725 & 800, UL standards UL 13 & UL 444, NFPA 262 (Plenum) flame rating, CSA-C22.2 No.2556 (FT6); the cable is UL and/or ETL listed and RoHS compliant. Classified as a 300V (CL3) Class-3 power-limited circuit cable, it can handle surges up to 300 watts to help minimize electrical shock risk.
