SWANSOFT 12522 Blue Hand Tools Press Kit sku-18702951549
No rating yet(0 ratings)The Blue SWANSOFT 12522 is a copper pipe press kit in Hand Tools, sized 22"×4"×2". It is an upgraded version of the 1525, with a PA and aviation-grade 7075-T6 aluminum alloy body. Its trigger/run switch is rated for 299 thousand or more uses. An 18V brushless motor delivers 22 kN of force and 40 MPa of pressure.
A crimp takes 3-4 s, allowing 300+ crimps per hour; the stated efficiency gains are 30% over other pro press tools and 50% over standard tools. Pressing also avoids traditional copper pipe welding. The jaw rotates 180° to reach confined spaces. An oversized power MOSFET is stated to improve performance by 50%.
Dual turbo-fan cooling increases heat dissipation by 30% and reduces noise by 50% to ≤68 dB, helping prevent clogging and overheating. A conformal coating protects the circuitry. The included U.S.-sized VUS 1/2", VUS 3/4", and VUS 1" jaws are designed for local copper tubing; the stated leak-free crimp rate is 99%.
The heat-treated, reinforced 7075-T6 jaws are rated for more than 50,000 cycles, or 3X the life of standard jaws. The kit includes 2pcs 4.0Ah 18V batteries and a charger with over-current, over-temperature, under-voltage, and over-load protection. An English-language OLED display tracks crimp counts, battery level, and temperature. The control system has been refined over a decade of field use.
A jaw lock, slip-resistant handles, and adjustable shoulder strap aid handling. The built-in USB-DC interface accepts a USB-C LED light for work in poorly lit areas. SKU: sku-18702951549. UPC: 698596641952.
