SVS pushes subwoofer engineering forward with the PB17-Ultra R|Evolution: a flagship ported design that combines radical driver and amplifier innovations with advanced DSP control. At the heart is an all-new 17-inch glass fiber composite cone driver featuring the first-ever dual 8-inch voice coils and a 55 lb toroidal ferrite magnet motor assembly, delivering authoritative low-frequency output with accurate control down to 12Hz. Power comes from the proprietary Dual Mono STA-2800D amplifier architecture with discrete MOSFET output, rated at 2800 watts RMS (6000+ watts peak) for exceptional headroom and impact. A 295MHz DSP provides high-speed processing and system intelligence for precise performance. Frequency response (±3 dB): 14–220 Hz (standard mode), 12–220 Hz (extended mode), 14–320 Hz (sealed mode). The subwoofer is managed via the intuitive SVS smartphone app, which makes volume adjustment and one-touch presets for movies, music and more effortless; auto EQ room correction will be added soon through an over-the-air update.
