The Supermicro CBL-SAST-0548 is a 1 meter external cable that connects an external MiniSAS HD port to an external iPass MiniSAS port. It’s intended for linking host controllers, RAID cards or servers to external drive enclosures and JBODs that use these connector types. Built to work with Supermicro equipment as well as other devices featuring standard external MiniSAS HD and iPass MiniSAS interfaces, this cable provides a direct external SAS connection over a 1 m length.
