The Supermicro AOC-A25G-I2SM is an AIOM-form-factor network adapter driven by the Intel E810-XXVAM2 25GbE controller. It provides dual SFP28 ports and supports both 25GbE and 10GbE link speeds. The card interfaces via PCI-E Gen 4.0 and is backward compatible with PCI-E 3.0. Designed for high-performance and low-latency environments, the adapter delivers RDMA over Converged Ethernet with support for both iWARP and RoCE v2. It also includes advanced offloads and traffic steering such as Intel® Ethernet Adaptive Virtual Function (Intel® Ethernet AVF), Intel® Ethernet Flow Director, and Application Device Queues (ADQ). Dynamic Device Personalization (DDP) is supported to tailor hardware behavior to specific workloads. For overlay and tunneling use cases, the card supports VXLAN, NVGRE and Geneve. Security and reliability features include a Hardware Root of Trust with Firmware Recovery. Management and monitoring capabilities include Asset Management Features with an integrated thermal sensor and a Network Controller Sideband Interface (NC-SI) for remote management.
