Summit Appliance ARG8PV, sku-1921789515 (UPC 761101062587), is a Multicolor unit in the Commercial Refrigerators & Commercial Freezers category, built for pharmacy, medication and vaccine storage to support CDC/VFC guidelines. It meets UL-471 commercial standards.

Adjustable controls set the interior between +2 and +8C; the published +/-1C variation is based on the maximum deviation of an NTC sensor in a 1 oz. vial nearest the chamber's geometric center during a 24 hour test. The microprocessor control panel has a large LED temperature readout in Celsius or Fahrenheit, a resettable min/max display recording low and high temperatures in 15 minute increments, and password protection for changes beyond the set point.

Visual and audible alarms signal out-of-range temperatures and sensor failure. There is also an audible, battery-powered power-failure alarm, an open-door alarm that sounds after 4 minutes and can be adjusted from 1-99 minutes, and volt-free contacts at the rear for forwarding alarms to an external system. Automatic defrost has an adjustable cycle.

A pre-installed 1/2" probe hole accepts user-provided monitoring equipment. The powder-coated handle contains silver ions to help reduce the spread of germs. Inside are white powder-coated metal walls, switchable LED lighting and adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves that can face lip-forward or lie flat; shelf positions are spaced at 1/2".

The double-pane tempered-glass door has a magnetic gasket, a factory-installed lock with 2 keys and a reversible swing. It self-closes unless reversed to an LHD swing. A hospital-grade, three-pronged cord has a 'green dot' plug. The warranty covers 2 years of parts and labor and 5 years for the compressor. The unit uses hydrocarbon refrigerant, is 100% CFC free and meets current CARB regulations.

Removable 'DO NOT UNPLUG,' 'DO NOT ADJUST TEMPERATURE' and 'DO NOT STORE PERSONAL ITEMS' stickers are supplied. The Pharma-Vac series also offers solid- and glass-door choices from 1 to 15 cu.ft. This unit is compatible with Pyxis, Omnicell and AcuDose RX.
