High-reliability 2-port PCIe serial adapter with Level-4 ESD protection and TAA compliance. Each DB9 connector can be independently configured (RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485) using on-board DIP switches, and TX/RX LEDs provide real-time data activity status. Power on pin 9 can be supplied via an auxiliary SATA connector and set per port to 12V (1.5A per port), 5V (1.5A per port) or disabled (RI); these per-port power modes are selected with jumpers. Built for use in desktops and servers, this card is well suited to POS systems, PLCs, factory automation, scientific sensors, medical devices, scanners and oscilloscopes; the DB9 ports accept screw-locking cables for secure connections. The card ships with a pre-installed standard bracket and includes two low-profile brackets for small form-factor systems.
