Lamps illuminate when you open the door or unlock the doors with your Key Fob, and fade-to-off automatically when the truck is started or doors are locked. The lights can also be controlled with the over-cab light button located on the headlight switch inside the passenger compartment. LED lamps come ready for a plug and play installation. Our LED lamps are IP67 rated making them completely waterproof against high pressure water spray. Their UV treated Polycarbonate lens make them rugged and dependable. Included is a Plug-and-Play adapter that allows you to seamlessly connect your LED lights to the factory wiring harness. All trucks equipped with the Trailer Assist Lamp, as well as select trucks with a factory-installed tow package are completely Plug and Play. Please see below for instructions on how to determine if your truck is pre-wired! LED’s are a White 6000k color temperature. White perfectly matches the factory trailer assist lamp.
