It has passed the ASTM F3186-17 safety standard for adult portable bed rails. The rail supports up to 300 pounds and assists with transfers into and out of bed, including transfers to a wheelchair.
Its handle pivots 180 degrees; the non-slip leg can be planted on the floor, lifted and moved with the user, then folded against the rail when not in use. It fits standard Twin, Full, Queen, King and California King beds with mattresses between 10 and 15 inches thick. It is not intended for adjustable beds or beds with extra-soft mattresses.
It is designed for older adults and people with limited mobility, disabilities or chronic conditions.
