It offers selectable fast or slow time weightings, A or C decibel frequency weighting scales, and min/max capture. Measurements and current settings are shown at once on the large 1.25 in. backlit display, and the unit includes a hold function plus auto-power off for convenience. Designed to meet the reference criteria of IEC651 and ANSI S1.4 for Type 2 sound level meters, the meter provides auto-ranging from 30 ~ 130 dB (A) with 0.1 dB resolution and an accuracy of ±1.5 dB. Readings are stable and reliable, and the instrument can be calibrated to comply with OSHA by using an Acoustical Calibrator or equivalent.
