It includes an integrated calibration signal generator that provides two outputs — a MF/HF/VHF sinus output for 0.1MHZ-350MHZ and a UHF square wave output for 240MHZ-960MHZ — useful for automatic self-test routines and low-level input calibration. For PC integration, the unit connects via USB and implements the serial over USB (CDC) protocol, exposing a wide set of commands; the required driver is downloaded automatically when the device is attached. This latest version 3.1 model adds ESD protection with installed diodes for improved sensitivity, stronger anti-static performance, higher reliability, and extended service life. A built-in rechargeable 650mA battery provides portable operation for at least 2 hours.
