SPECSTAR VH1583 Black Heating Chimney Cap sku-9631015432

The SPECSTAR VH1583 square chimney cap is a Black, Unisex Heating item sized 13" x 13". SKU: sku-9631015432. UPC: 717019611447. Its edge-folded corner hood and mesh keep debris, leaves, animals and water out of the chimney to help prevent blockages, reduce maintenance and maintain airflow for safer, more efficient fireplace or stove operation.

The hood is made of 0.8 mm rust-resistant galvanized steel, the expanded mesh of 1.2 mm galvanized steel and the base of 1.3 mm galvanized steel. All are coated with polyurethane to resist corrosion and harsh weather. The mesh has 0.7 in x 0.7 in openings that allow airflow while blocking larger material and minimizing downdrafts, supporting combustion and heating efficiency.

To install, place the cap over the chimney and tighten the four wing bolts through the pre-drilled corner holes; no extra tools are required, and gloves are included to protect your hands. The cap is intended for masonry or metal chimneys. Measure your chimney before purchasing to check the fit.
