The SP12H2 is an HDMI2.0, HDCP2.2 compliant 1x2 splitter that delivers 4K@60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma, 8bit color and 18Gbps bandwidth — including HDR and Dolby Vision support. It handles high-resolution audio formats for a true home-theater experience: Dolby Digital 7.1CH, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master and LPCM 2.1/5.1/7.1CH. This unit is built to downscale 4K/4K HDR signals to 1080P only; it does not perform up-scaling. Out-of-the-box it also does not support ARC/eARC, VRR or CEC. If you need VRR or downscaling for 4K HDR Dolby Vision, contact the seller to request a firmware upgrade. For best results use new HDMI2.0 cables under 3 meters in length. Installation is straightforward: connect source and displays, choose EDID COPY and tweak the scaler settings as required. EDID options include 4K5.1, 4K7.1 and COPY modes to match your setup. Compatible with a wide variety of equipment including Nvidia Shield, Xfinity box, Game Capture devices, Apple TV, Fire TV, PS4 Pro, Xbox series, Comcast boxes, soundbars and more. The splitter is USB powered and ships with a cable tie for tidy installation.
