It captures AV or S-Video signals from devices such as VCRs, VHS players, camcorders, Hi8 decks, DVD players and gaming consoles and records them directly as MP4 files. (NOTE: Video source/VCR/camcorder not included.) For analog audio, plug in a 3.5mm feed from cassette tape players, stereos or turntables to create MP3 recordings. (NOTE: Audio source not included.) No PC, drivers or extra software are required — this unit works standalone. Preview what you’re capturing on the built-in 3" LCD screen and speaker, then save files straight to a USB flash drive or a microSD memory card (not included). Handy conveniences include an Auto Stop function that ends recording after a preset duration, making it simple to batch-convert tapes. Ideal for preserving and archiving old audio and video tapes.
