OBERON-15SPW powered subwoofer from Sound Town’s OBERON Series delivers punchy low end with pro-grade components and flexible I/O. A built-in Class-D amplifier provides 700W continuous (1400W peak, 8Ω) to drive a 15" woofer featuring a 4" voice coil and a 100 oz magnet, extending bass response down to 35Hz. DSP selectable output modes and an onboard LPF let you tailor the low-frequency behavior to your system. Connect and integrate simply using (2) XLR-1/4" combo inputs and (2) XLR thru outputs; the unit includes an active crossover and supplies high-pass filtered outputs for full-range satellites. Constructed for road use, the cabinet is built from 5/8" birch plywood with a durable black finish and includes two recessed carry handles per side for easier transport. An integrated M20 pole mount socket lets you pole-mount full-range speakers on top (speaker pole sold separately). Lightweight enough for mobile setups yet rugged enough for touring, the OBERON-15SPW is suitable for weddings, clubs, houses of worship, schools, and other live PA applications.
