The Sound Town CARME-28SPW1.1 is a 2000W powered PA subwoofer built to deliver tight, impactful low end for lounges, clubs, bars, theaters, restaurants and churches. Its high-efficiency Class-D amplifier drives two 8" low-frequency woofers for dependable bass reinforcement. Power and amplification: The on-board amplifier supplies the sub with 500W continuous and 1000W peak into 4 ohm. A dedicated speaker output can also feed a satellite PA speaker, providing an additional 500W continuous and 1000W peak. Connectivity and wireless: Multiple input and output options ensure easy integration—two 1/4"/XLR combo inputs plus one XLR and one Speakon output. Built-in TWS Bluetooth enables effortless wireless pairing with compatible devices, and onboard DSP lets you shape the system tone for the room. System pairing and mounting: When paired with CARPO series column speakers the setup produces strong bass and clear highs for a full-range PA. The cabinet includes a 35mm mounting socket to accept a satellite speaker for optimal coverage. Construction: Housed in a rugged plywood enclosure with a black textured finish and protected by a metal grille, the CARME subwoofer is built to withstand demanding use and touring environments.
