The Sound Town CARME-208SPW is an 800W powered PA subwoofer built for venues like lounges, clubs, bars, theaters, restaurants and churches. Its efficient Class-D amplifier delivers strong, reliable bass reinforcement for full-range systems. Dual 8" woofers provide punchy, low-frequency response and extend the bass down to 42 Hz, while an adjustable lowpass filter lets you fine-tune the crossover for the best low-end balance. Connection options include Two 1/4"/XLR combo inputs, RCA inputs and XLR outputs for easy integration with mixers and powered speakers. For system integration the cabinet features a 35mm mounting socket to accept a satellite speaker. The enclosure is constructed from birch plywood with a black textured finish and protected by a metal grille, designed to withstand demanding gig and installation use.
