This conversion kit for the Sony PMW-EX1R adds a 0.5x wide-angle conversion plus a dedicated Macro mode while preserving all camera functions. The conversion unit is a screw-on, front-mount type that attaches to existing lens filter accessory threads and accepts 82mm filters. Optical elements are multi-coated to maximize image transmission and minimize distortion for both day and night shooting, and the camera's autofocus system continues to operate normally. Macro operation is achieved by unscrewing the front lens assembly and using the section labeled "Macro" with your current lens. The package includes a 77-72mm stepping ring for compatibility with different front thread sizes. Included items: lens cap, bottom cover, protective pouch, 82mm circular polarizing filter, and an Nwv Direct Micro Fiber Cleaning Cloth (Soft-tex silicone cloth for wiping camera lenses and other exterior surfaces). The 82mm circular polarizer increases color saturation and contrast by reducing reflections on non-metallic surfaces, cuts through haze and deepens skies; filter factor between 2.1 and 2.5 (approx. +1.2 stops).
